Soloist, Singers, Conductors & Orchestra

Coaching by renowned soloists, teachers and conductors:

The festival participation includes individual lessons (mainly referring to stylistic items and to an optimized musical cooperation with the orchestra), coaching with 2nd piano instead of orchestra and rehearsals with orchestra. Public orchestra concert  will take place in prestigous venues.

Instrumental soloists (pianists, string- and wind-players) and singers perform either a whole concerto, one chosen movement of a concerto or arias/duetts with the Vienna International Orchestra in Stift Altenburg, in Stift Geras and other venues.

I - "One movement" orchestra course:

• at least two individual lessons
• two rehearsals with orchestra for one movement of an instrumental concerto or arias/duetts
• performance in a public orchestra concert
• on request: additional lessons and performance of a small solo-program or 4-hands piano program or chamber music 

II - "Full Concerto" orchestra course:

• at least three individual lessons
• two rehearsals with orchestra for a full concert
• performance in a pubic orchestra concert
• on request: additional lessons and performance of a small solo-program or 4-hands piano program or chamber music 

Facultative offers:

• accompaniment for singers (vocal master class with Prof. Margit Fussi)
• possibilities to attend all AMA-courses as an auditor
• free admission for the swimming pool in Horn (town close to Stift Altenburg)
• table tennis tournament
• soccer field
• reduced fee for Feldenkrais
