The “Altenburger Musik Akademie” (A·MA·) cooperates with various restaurants and guesthouses.
There are only few sleeping berths available at the “Stift Altenburg” monastery – preferential booking to under 18-years-olds without a car.

Gasthaus Eisenhauer is located in Fuglau – 3km away from Altenburg. Busses operate daily.

Prices are renegotiated every year. Discounts for students are usually available. Horn is situated about 7 km away, reachable with bus or car.
Since last year, the restaurant “Klosterkuchl” – the only restaurant on site – caters for the “AMA”. It’s constantly open and offers daily low-priced lunch menues. Dinner is included in the half-board.
Next supermarket is situated in Horn. In Altenburg there is only a small grocery store with a limited amount of goods.
